The Xbox One release is only days away and the plans are being put in place for the big launch itself.
Microsoft Set To Match Sony Launch Night
Sony have enjoyed a massively successful launch of their new console the PlayStation 4. They themselves organized a PlayStation All-Access Live event the night before the PS4 launched.
It looks like Microsoft took a liking to the idea themselves and have now been busy planning and putting together their own launch. Realistically this launch night has been long in the oven but we are now starting to receive more information about what possibly might be in store for Xbox fans.
Microsoft Announce Launch Night Schedule
Microsoft have announced that their Xbox One “countdown” event will take place on November 21st.
The Xbox One itself will be launched at 00:00 on November 23rd initially in 13 select territories worldwide.
The launch itself will be viewable on air via Spike TV. The event will also be viewable for those with access to Xbox.com or Xbox Live on a current Xbox 360 console – unless you are one of those lucky people who accidently received an Xbox One early from Target!
What to Expect from Xbox One Launch Night
So what can we expect from Microsoft’s Xbox One launch night? Well it won’t be filled with announcements or interesting reveals as we pretty much already know everything there is to know about the console.
We can expect however a big ol’ gamer themed party. Microsoft have commented..
“Watch in horror as our “Dead Rising 3” zombies descend on Times Square, enjoy interviews with fans and game developers, check out gameplay from highly anticipated Xbox One titles, and pump up the jams with live performances from Deadmau5 and Macklemore & Ryan Lewis.”
So it might not be a must watch event unless you like watching other people having a great time. Microsoft will also be running three Xbox One launch themed commercial – of which have been shared throughout.
