It may only have just been released, but the Xbox One is set to have an interface and feature upgrade soon according to latest reports.

All in all, it is been a pretty successful launch for the new Xbox One from Microsoft. Gamers have definitely been able to enjoy the benefits of improved hardware that allow for graphically enhanced games among other upgrades for the first time in nearly 8 years.

As we settle into the new generation however it is becoming clear that there are a few notable problems along with a few issues that need to be ironed out for the flagship console.

One example would be the lack of cross-game chat that used to be so reliable and used among owners of the Xbox 360, and as of now is lacking in the new Xbox One. Microsoft are invariably aware of this, however, and have already instigated the upgrades that were to be expected after launch.

He also points to the changes that occurred to the Xbox 360 during its life span and noted how the Xbox 360 as we know today is a totally different specimen to known that was released back into 2005.

“If you look back at the Xbox 360’s launch, what it was in 2005 when it launched is completely different from what it is now. It’s fascinating to see the different things that have come along. Things iterated. We didn’t even have things like the party system or the ability to support external storage when we launched the Xbox 360. So we are absolutely committed to adding new features to the Xbox One over the course of its life span.”

What Planned Upgrades Mean For Xbox One Owners

The new upgrades and features announced by Microsoft is definitely good news for owners of the system. It again reaffirms the company’s commitment to meeting customer demands and adjusting to the needs of the gaming community that use their products.

This has been a strategy that Microsoft have been taking all along with the Xbox One and can evidently been seen when they announced a policy changes regarding the Xbox One online regulations.
