You can still preorder Battlefield 3 . According to some rumors Valve and EA are still discussing a possible Steam launch. However, EA want to grow their Origins userbase and may not agree to a Steam launch in the end.

Just a reminder, if you want to give the Battlefield 3 beta a try – it runs from September 29th, 2011, to October 10th, 2011.
