One of the biggest things about the Uber app is the tight integration with Cortana. Users are able to say “Hey Cortana, get me an uberX to JFK Airport in New York City, and the app will hail the uberX vehicle, just that easy.

Secondly, this is the first official app from Uber on the desktop. This app is actually a UWP or Universal Windows Platform app, and it means that it gives the user the best visual experience each time the user loads up the desktop app.
