Wii U Specs
Here’s what we know about the Wii U specs so far.
The Wii U will support full HD graphics. The controller resembles the iPad and is a fully functional handheld. Top!
Let’s take a look at the Wii U specs
Size Specs: 1.8 inch x 6.8 inch x 10.5 inch
Controller Specs: 16:9 touch screen display, analog pads (2), accelerometer, gyroscope, rumble, camera, microphone, stereo speakers (wow, a small iPad!)
Supported Controllers: 4 Wii Remote / Wii Plus controllers
Resolution Specs: 1080p = Full HD
Video Connector: Supports HDMI
Storage Specs: Flash memory, Optional: SD memory card, USB hard drive
CPU Specs: IMB CPU (Multicore!)
Graphics: Radeon GPU
Slots: 4x USB 2.0, PCM (AV Multi connector)
What’s interesting is that Nintendo did not reveal the exact CPU/GPU model they are using. Well, obviously Microsoft, Nintendo and Sony are using custom-made CPU’s and GPU’s, but it would have been interesting to know more about the CPU and GPU specs. However, a Radeon / IBM combinations sounds good.
The other specs are very good and the graphics look pretty awesome if you have seen the tech demo trailer. If you haven’t, you can do that now below.
