The Windows Phone platform and its phones have been an exciting way to view and shoot video, but editing that video has been somewhat of a chore on the phone. Microsoft this week released a Video Tuner program that will now allow video editing on Windows Phones for all.
The free app, which is available on the Windows Phone Store, is a great addition to the Windows Phone ecosystem. It’s available now, and has gotten a number of positive reviews from reviewers, fans, and Windows Phone users. It’s compatibile with Windows 8.1 phones starting this week.
Easy Clip Editing
Windows Phone 8.1 users will real all the benefits on this free Video Tuner app, as it only works on Windows Phone 8.1 for now. It allows users to add music, apply various tweaks, and share those videos to various social sites, from OneDrive, YouTube, and other services online.
By allowing users to edit their videos before sharing them, they can make more exciting videos with fun effects. Applying filters, adding music, trimming and cropping videos, flipping them, mirroring them, and speed changes transform normal videos to wild ones. Even adjusting exposure and contrasting them makes videos better starting today.
Videos On Windows Phones Now Live On
What makes the Microsoft Video Tuner exciting is that it allows videos to be edited on the go, and shared socially or via email. Before, Windows Phone users would have to load them on their desktop, laptop, or tablet, and then edit them there. Now, simple editing can be made from anywhere and then uploaded to a number of social sites.
The app does require access to a variety of services including your music, photos, and videos library but that makes sense. It’s available in a number of languages as well, ranging from English to Espanol, and even Deutsch. It’s a small 40 MB download and the 126.96.36.199 version is just the first version of the app, and will expand more as it grows with users, and possible bug fixes with feedback from users.
The Microsoft Video Tuner is great for Windows Phone users. Now, videos can be edited from anywhere, and makes Windows Phones even better to own.
