According to CTV, Big Bang Theory is the top-rated TV show in Canada in 2011 and can even beat American Idol Canada (based on viewers).

Big Bang Theory also enjoys rather favorable reviews on the web. On IMDB it enjoys a nice 8.8 rating. Everyone who has ever visited IMDB knows that it’s a really good rating for any movie or TV-show, although TV-shows often have a much higher rating than many of the best movies. I’d never compare movies with TV-shows, because you’d also never compare apples and pears. But what is your opinion, are TV-shows overrated?
