… Diablo 3!

1. Diablo 3:

After 8 years, Diablo 2 is still alive and kicking ass. Despite old-fashioned graphics it’s still the ultimate fun game. Many of us are looking forward to the successor, but we all have very high expectations, that’s why Blizzard had to delay the game to 2011 (according to the roadmap of Blizzard).

With 15,3% of all votes, Diablo 3 is our most-anticipated game 2010! Congratulations! Hype Factor x100.

2. Mass Effect 2:

Considering that this game has just been released there’s quite a hype about Mass Effect 2, but I think everyone agrees that this was one of the most anticipates games this year. Shepard is rocking badly and is able to snatch place 2, directly after Diablo 3 with more than 150 votes.

3. WoW Cataclysm

As we reported, Paragon was the first guild to successfully kill the Lich King. Now, people are looking forward to an expansion. WoW: Cataclysm can already be pre-ordered, but it’s still some time until we will able to get our hands on it.
In the third expansion, Dragon Aspect, Deathwing returns to the kingdom of Azeroth.

4. God of War 3

The release date for God of War 3 has already been confirmed, it’s going to be the 25th March. It’s slowly getting time to prepare yourself for one of the hottest games this year. Some people already made their very own Kratos PC Case Mod, you too?

With 127 votes, God of War 3 missed the podium by 4 votes only! Let’s say it was a tie between WoW and God of War 3.

5. StarCraft 2:

Another Blizzard game on our TOP 10 list of most anticipated games 2010. For ages, Starcraft was the ultimate strategy game and it’s still being played more than 78,000 minutes per day on average (according to Xfire). So, will Starcraft 2 top that?

More than 100 strategists voted for Starcraft 2, making it our #5.

6. Final Fantasy 13

We already know the contents of the Final Fantasy 13 Collector’s Edition and the release date (March 9th), but hell yea, we finally want to play it!

Thank to an incredible strike attack, Final Fantasy 13 rakes in 81 votes and is able to secure a wonderful 6th place with 6,66% of all votes. Hmmm …

7. Bioshock 2

8. Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands

The jump & run that goes way back to 1989. Yep, Prince of Persia has been around for a while and it’s probably here to stay.

9. Gran Turismo 5

Ever played Gran Turismo? It’s simply awesome to tune every aspect of your car to finally beat that frigging record or win the race. Gran Turismo is without question the best racing game series of all time. That’s why part 5 deserved a place on our TOP 10 list of most anticipated games!

10. Splinter Cell

John Fisher will be back! Amazing graphics and a multiplayer-mode. Ubisoft Montreal will be responsible for the multiplayer-mode, so we can be surprised what they come up with!

With 55 votes (4.5%), John Fisher accomplished his mission and made it on our list. Hype factor x10.
