The Most Anticipated Games Of 2014 Part 2

We continue to take a look at what games are exciting us the most for the upcoming year.

Tom Clancy’s The Division

Tom Clancy’s The Division is a game that has flown slightly under the radar as of late, but it is undoubtedly one of the games everyone should be looking out for in 2014.

Set in a virus swept post-modern New York City, players will control a team of tactical agents whos mission is to simply quell the virus.

The game will be an online multiplayer third person tactical shooter withvarious RPG elements and will be released later in the year on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows.

DriveClub was a game that was originally intended to be a launch title for the PlayStation 4 and it was a major disappointment to racing game fans that the title was delayed until 2014.

It should just mean that we end up with a product that is more polished and representative of the developers ambitions however. This racer is being created by the guys behind the Motorstorm series and focuses heavily on competitive online and social elements.

DriveClub is set to usher in a new era for racing games and whether it succeeds or not, everybody will be sitting up and takeing notice when it comes out for the PlayStation 4 in early 2014.

Dark Souls 2

For many Dark Souls was one of the best games of the last generation with its fantastic role-playing action, open progression and unique character classes establishing the game as one of the finest in its genre.

We can only hope that Dark Souls 2 manages to live up to the reputation and hype and from what we’ve seen so far in terms of trailers and screenshots fans of the franchise have little to fear.

The game’s world will be a similar size to the first and there are rumours that the concept of time will feature heavily. While we can’t look into the future – all the signs so far are that Dark Souls 2 will be a game of the year contender this time next year.
