Sway is one of Microsoft’s more intriguing products, and gives people amazing wayst to tell stories about their personal lives, business trips, and product tours. On Wednesday, Microsoft announced that Sway has reached general availability, and a new Windows 10 app with new features.
If you haven’t had the chance to try Sway yet, it’s definitely worth trying out. It allows users to put together stories via movies, photos, text, and other multimedia features. With the new Windows 10 app and new built-in features, it should help its userbase grow.
Sway Becomes Available Plus Windows 10
Sway now has moved from preview to general availability, and is moving out to all eligible business and education customers around the world. It just takes a Microsoft account to get started, and since its inception 10 months ago, it has become wildly successful for presentations.
Sway for Windows 10 is now available in the Windows Store as well, and takes advantage of the powers of Windows 10. The new app works on tablets, computers, and mobile devices. Users can present immediately with Windows 10, and allows users to be logged in with multiple accounts if needed.
New Sway Features
Microsoft is also bringing new features to Sway users. First is a new layout in the navigation pane. The new layout gives users groupings of features, works with images, and gives users ways to present across any number of devices. This new layout is available starting today.
Users can also share Sways with other users using Docs.com, which has been recently relaunched by Microsoft. Users can click Share, and then publish the Sway to the cloud with ease. The Sway’s are featured with full fidelity, and can be shared on social media and across the web.
Sway is fun and I’ve used it a lot. It’s free, and worth checking out today, especially on Windows 10.
