Skype Brings Group Video Calling To Mobile Devices
One of the brightest points of Skype is video, and the ability to have video chats with anyone globally is a remarkable feature. On Tuesday, Skype added the availability of group video calling to mobile devices.
It has been ten years since Skype launched its video service, and they are marking the date with this group video service for mobile. It is available for Windows 10 Mobile now, and for more devices soon.
Devices and Availability
In its blog post on Tuesday, Skype noted that the group video calling feature will be available on Android, iPhone, iPad, and Windows 10 mobile. Users are able to pre-register for the features starting today.
Skype stated that the Windows 10 devices will start to see the first rollouts, and then the rest of the mobile devices. It will require app updates and feature enhacements, but should be available very soon.

In their blog post, Skype also noted the 2 trillion minutes of Skype video calls that has occured since Skype Video launched. They have covered calls from around the world, and on all seven continents of the planet.
Skype stated that over 750 million people have downloaded Skype on their mobile devices, and is one of the best selling apps out. Additionally, its integration into Outlook.com, Xbox, Windows 10 Mobile, and Office Web Apps was noted.
