Office Delve App Joins Windows 10 App Store
While most people love Windows 10 apps for their consumer and entertainment side, many also love them for their business focused apps. Recently, the Office Delve app has appeared, which gives hope to the Office app joining Windows 10 soon.
The Office Delve app has appeared briefly in the Windows Store, and is the main app for OneDrive for Business and Sharepoint users. It’s definitely meant for business and enterprise users, but it has hope for a wider audience.
What Is Delve?
Office Delve is described by Microsoft as the perfect business service that lets users surface personalized content across Office 365. It brings together the OneDrive for Business, Yammer, Sharepoint, and Exchange services together as one.
There are a number of businesses using Office Delve currently, so getting them a Windows 10 app would be beneficial. It lets users return to recent content, minimize lost time, and let work be done more efficiently in the workplace.
Windows 10 Office Delve App
So, with the talk of Office Delve, Microsoft has quietly launched the Office Delve app on the Windows Store, but with a test format, with minimal images, and just a picture of the logo. It leaves questions as to the overall launch date, but it is available.
Users can download the Office Delve app on their Windows 10 machines, but it won’t work on Windows 10 Mobile for now. It’s still limited in some functions, but a desktop Windows 10 Office Delve app will certainly get a lot of attention from users.
Office Delve is new but a fascinating enterprise service. With a Windows 10 app, it brings Windows 10 closer to the enterprise and business world than ever before.
