New User Experiences Come To Office 365 On The Web

Office 365 has been an incredible success story for Microsoft, as adopters around the world use it on a daily basis. From individuals to schools, from businesses to enterprises, Office 365 has a big following. On Monday, Microsoft updated the web experience with new user experiences for Office 365.

The roll out of new Office 365 experiences are ones that most users will notice, and ones that show off the expandability of Office 365. They are all live for Office 365 users to try, and showcase the power of Office 365. Users can login to the web experience to see them working now.

Microsoft Office 365 Gets Easier Notifications & Help Panes

A new notifications pane has been introduced, and they will give users real-time updates on system alerts. These can includes notifications of new emails, group likes, and anything else the user likes. Users can see these via the bell icon, and the bell will show off the available notifications.

A new help pane has been introduced as well, and will showcase the whats new features in Office 365. These can include a wide variety of different things, and can include quick actions as well. Organization support cards can be used in enterprises and alerts for users in business can be seen as well.

Microsoft Office 365 Shows Skype For Business Conversations

Skype For Business & New Settings Panes

With the Lync product being transformed into Skype for Business, Office 365 will now include Skype for Business conversations. They can be seen on the right pane, and users can start messages, make voice calls, interact with video calls, and use business tools like OneDrive and others there.

Lastly, a new settings pane has been setup, and users will see direct access to contextual settings to the application they are working on. Users can also get full Office 365 settings within these settings, and users can create customized/personalized settings too. This just helps the user in the end.

Office 365 got nice updates on Monday. Now, it can grow with Windows 10 as well.
