Minecraft-Themed Xbox 360 Console – Is It Coming Any Time Soon?

We posted a few pictures of the incredible Halo-4-themed Xbox 360 and we’re wondering will there ever be a Minecraft-themed console?

There have been a bunch of customized Xbox’s for various games like Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3 and Kinect Star Wars. Obviously only the best games and really popular franchises get a themed Xbox console, but for that matter Minecraft definitely qualifies. Let’s take a look at this awesome Xbox Halo console:

Creating such a console is most-likely a lot of work and requires more than a few tweaks here and there. I’m no expert on this, but I assume the Xbox manufacturing system needs to be customized so this can be produced in large quantities. (According to a businessweek.com article from 2005, Microsoft works with companies like Flextronics and Wistron to produce the Xbox 360 in China)

Anyway, if Minecraft continues to sell so well on Xbox 360 (it’s on track to become the most-sold XBLA game of all time) it would be a great treat for Minecraft fans around the world to get a Minecraft-themed Xbox 360
