Microsoft slash Xbox 360 game prices

Microsoft continue to keep the fans happy and have announced some impressive price cuts across a wide range of Xbox 360 titles available on their store.

Big games, small prices

If keeping fans in favour for the new Xbox One mean slashing prices of current Xbox 360 games – then we are all for it!

The PR spin has been in overdrive recently with the latest announcements regarding the Xbox One, but Microsoft have not forgotten about the Xbox 360 just yet. Many blockbuster titles along with some genre defining one’s have had the prices slashed as Microsoft stage a clear out of sorts.


This follows on from the recent ultimate live game sale that had some full Xbox 360 titles retailing for as little as three dollars.

Xbox 360 games selling for as low as $10

The following games are available for little as $10 on the store at time of writing.

The Darkness 2

Max Payne 3

Mortal Kombat Komplete Edition

Ninja Gaiden 3

Quake 4

Street Fighter x Tekken

Silent Hill: Downpour

Soul Calibur 5



There is definitely great value to be had in the above list, so if you haven’t picked up any of those titles yet now’s your chance.


Other titles also receive price cuts

Some newer titles also received price cuts. Dead or Alive 5 is available for $11 as is Asura’s Wrath.Assassin’s Creed: Revelations can be found for $13 while the Devil May cry HD collection is retailing at $15.

For $20 gamers can get their hands on XCOM, Tekken Tag Tournament 2, Darksiders 2 or/and Borderlands 2

Dishonored is going for $22. While other recent titles such as Far Cry 3 and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance have had their price almost halved to $28.


Fans of the Dead Space series have probably bought it already, but for the rest of us Dead Space 3: Limited Editionis is now $33. Tomb Raider – which many of you voted as one of your favourite games of 2013 – is $37 and Call of Duty:Black Ops 2 can be purchased for $40.

We are not quite sure how long these prices are going to last so of if your interested in any of those games it’s best to act as quickly as possible!
