Microsoft is one of the premiere partners of the NFL, and across its wide varities of platforms has had a wide variety of apps available for the NFL. On Tuesday, the latest batch of NFL apps for Windows Phone, Xbox, and Xbox One were announced, making football fans happy.

The NFL no matter your sports preference, is one of the biggest sports franchises around the world. With its release of the new NFL apps on all of its platforms, Microsoft is making sure that NFL Fans get their fill of football action on a number of Microsoft ecosystems.

One of the newest apps on the Windows Phone and Windows platforms is NFL Now. This is NFL’s latest apps, and is a variety of multimedia mixed with next-generation technology. The app celebrates the launch of the NFL season on September 4th, and is available for Windows Phone and Windows devices.

The app highlights breaking news, interviews, feature stories, and unlimited access to the NFL Films Archives which is a huge bonus. Users are able to subscribe to real-time highlights as well with the apps, and get game day access to highlights, plus get ad-free access too. These are both available for download from Microsoft and the NFL.

Xbox One Major NFL Overhaul

The Xbox One launched with the first-generation NFL app and it was nice, but had bugs. Microsoft relaunched the app on Tuesday for Windows 8 and Xbox platforms, and gave it a brand new look and a ton of new features. From the Snap architecture to live scores on the side, it makes NFL fans smile at every second of football.

The new app for US owners is also now hooked into and fantasy sports leagues via, making fantasy sports fans smile with happiness. Live stats and real-time scoring updates mean they can track their leagues and watch points roll up live. Now, notifications will be received for in-game video highlights and a brand new experience has been promised for Windows and Xbox fans. This app is awesome and from the NFL and Microsoft.

I love these apps for the NFL. I’ve downloaded them both, and it makes my Sunday even more happier.
