At the E3 expo in Los Angeles, Microsoft was the belle of the ball, as the company was first up in the press conferences for the show. What came though, stunned many, as Microsoft made no hardware announcements for the Xbox One, but instead went games crazy for users.
During the E3 keynote, Microsoft’s Phil Spencer hit the stage and stunned the crowd with no hardware talk. Instead, he said the press conference was all about the upcoming games, and made sure to silence the critics of the Xbox One who question its commitment to new games.
Halo, Assassins Creed Unity and More
The biggest announcement for many was Microsoft’s statement about their Halo franchise of games for the Xbox One. Microsoft announced that Halo 1 through Halo 4 would be released later this year under the “Halo: The Master Chief Collection”, and will include a ton of content for Halo fans.
Next up, Microsoft announced the newest version of Assassin’s Credit Unity, and will be a single-player and cooperative effort with multiplayer gaming. Next, Microsoft announced Phantom Dust, which will give players all new gameplay, combat arsenals, and a number of advanced features never seen in Xbox One gaming.
COD, Forza Horizon 2, Halo 5, And More
The latest Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will get exclusive add-on content for the Xbox One, and will feature next-gen fighting. D4: Dark Dreams Don’t Die will give users a detective thriller with built-in Kinect controls as well. Dance Central Spotlight will be a downloadable game, and is part of the dance central theme of games and have 50 songs to choose from.
Other major games for the Xbox One announced during the E3 show from Microsoft were Forza Horizon 2, Forza Motorsports 5, Halo 5: Guardians, Evolve, Happy Wares, Super Ultra Dead Rising 3, Killer Instinct, Scalebound, Crackdown, Rise Of Tomb Raider, and many more. All of these games will be available by years end, and will showcase the power of the Xbox One and give gamers amazing new games to play on the Xbox One.
Microsoft hit a home run with E3. They brought out all the games, and made Xbox One users drooling for them all.
