Just as Microsoft exited the very news-worthy Build show in San Francisco, the Microsoft road show continues. On Monday, Microsoft will be taking their executives to the highly coveted Ignite show in Chicago, Illinois. The Ignite show is more IT focused, but sure to deliver news as well.
Where the Build show was meant for Windows developers, the Ignite show is IT pro focused. The IT pro might be purchasing units, adminstering networks, and approving spending, whereas the Build show is meant for developers and programmers. Either show though is exciting for Microsoft’s press.
Over 1129 Ignite Sessions
With IT pros, the Ignite show is certain to get their knowledge juices flowing. According to the Ignite schedule, there are over 1129 Ignite sessions on the agenda, and there will be thousands of IT professionals attending. The range of these sessions range from Surface Tech to Lync/Skype Product feedback and more.
What the Ignite show will be is a totally dedicated place where IT professionals can grow. There will be tons of information being shared, a ton of new information to take back to their places of work, and lots of Windows 10. The number of courses from Microsoft professionals should give any IT pro a great place to learn from.
Featured Speakers From Microsoft
The Ignite show is also scheduled to bring out Microsoft’s top brass, and that includes Microsoft’s CEO Satya Nadella. Satya Nadella is scheduled to deliver the main keynote on Monday morning, and his words will be closely listened to via analysts, attendees, and the press covering the show.
Additionally, Adam Harmetz, Asaf Kashi, Brad Anderson, Brian Jones, Dave Campbell, and lots of other Group Program Managers will be present to give speeches at Ignite. Others like Joe Belfiore, Mark Russinovich, and Perry Clarke are also scheduled to appear. If you want to hear from Microsoft, Ignite is the show.
