Microsoft Announces Social Engage and Epic Healthcare Collaboration

Microsoft knows social and their set of tools for enterprise customers is highlighted by Yammer. But as Microsoft goes deeper into the enterprise sector, they are looking to expand it even more. On Friday, Microsoft announced the general availability of Microsoft Social Engagement plus announced a new healthcare cloud solutions package with Epic Healthcare.

The Epic deal with Microsoft will give healthcare cloud solutions to a number of businesses, and will be a big one for both companies. But, the social scale of Microsoft’s Social Engagement will certainly give enterprise customers new social analytic’s that they haven’t had before.

Epic Healthcare Deal

The deal with Epic Healthcare will allow for Epic’s cloud software to set on the Microsoft Azure Cloud platform, and will be hosted with Hyper-V enterprise technical skills. Their sizing and capacities, will give their customers more options, and also give their over 2700 users cost savings in the long run.

The deal with Epic Healthcare will allow Epic to save money, reduce the costs of operating and maintaining servers on their own, and scale at infinite levels. It will also give them access to the latest technology, and give them the security that healthcare providers need when they need it 24/7.

Microsoft Shows Off Social Engagement Tools For Enterprise

New Social Engagement

The new Microsoft Social Engagement will allow users to get more social analytics’s about themselves than ever before. It has been redone, and will give users a new user interface, social analytics, social center, social profiles, search topic set-ups, and a lot more as it rolls out later this year.

Microsoft is using the Social Engagement tool as something they will roll out, called the Social CRM. This end-to-end product will help businesses convert social posts to leads, and help them load those leads to Dynamics CRM. All of this will help businesses grow in the social space and get more customers.

Microsoft is using Azure to help businesses grow. Additionally, the social aspect will help them maintain and grow as well.
