Listen To Podcasts With Onecast On Windows 10
Podcasts have been available for sometime, but their popularity has been growing like crazy in the past few years. Windows 10 podcast clients let you listen to podcasts at anytime, and Onecast is a newer one that catches our interest.
Onecast is a free Windows 10 podcast app, and has a ton of features that let you subscribe, listen to, and enjoy your favorite podcasts. It’s one of the simplest ones to use, and certainly will get podcast fans interested in downloading it.
Podcast Features
With Onecast, you get either a Windows 10 PC or Windows 10 Mobile app, and it lets you download podcasts for offline-viewing, and is advertisement free. It’s live tile slideshow shows you the podcast cover art and is very clever.
When listening to your podcasts, you can skip forward 30s or back 10s, and it uses native Windows Media Shortcuts or Bluetooth Playback Controls to help you along. You can play, create sharelinks, and more within the app.
Advanced Onecast Features
While Onecast is a great podcast for most, it features advanced features that will please fans. It has a simple and intuitive UI, and lets users adjust playback speeds, anywhere from 1x, 1.1x, 1.2x, 1.5x, and 2x speeds.
Each of those playback speeds is remembered for each podcast series, and that is something most podcast clients cannot do. Users can search by keywords for their podcasts, manually copy RSS URL’s, and paste RSS URL’s. You also get show notes in-app, continuum support, and OPML Import support.
Onecast is a premier Windows 10 podcast app. If you love podcasts, this is a must download, and is one I enjoy a ton.
