Instagram App Features

Now that the Instagram app has arrived via the Windows Store, it brings all the features of Instagram to the desktop. It will let users post photos and videos to the site, and ones you want to keep on their profile grid. Users can edit them and combine them as they want.

Users can also share multiple photos and videos via the app, and bring them to life with drawing tools. They will disappear after 24 hours though, and they won’t appear on the profile grid or feed. This makes Instagram feel more like Snapchat as many have said.

Stories, Messages & Sharing

Instagram rolled out their Stories feature a while ago, and users can watch them now via the Windows 10 app. They can view them at their pace, and enjoy. Discovery of photos and videos can be explored via the Explore tab, and that enables more discovery of fun.

The whole sending of private messages, photos, and videos is enabled via the Instagram app, and users can share those with other Instagram users. The social sharing aspects of the service are also included, so you can share to Facebook, Twitter, Tumblr, and other social networks.

Instagram is finally on Windows 10 via the Windows Store. Download it now, and Instagram your hearts out.
