All About The Paint Gun
The Paint Gun Testing Initiative is all about the paint gun. You know what I liked about Portal 2? That it did not solely focus on the portal gun. Sure, it was fun solving those portal gun riddles, but it was a lot more fun to discover the new toys in town. The paint gun was an awesome idea, it made Portal 2 one of my favorite games of all time. Very innovative idea. The Aperture Tag Team probably agrees and thought it was worth developing a game that would solely focus on the new paint gun.
More Challenging Than Portal 2 But Not Frustratingly Difficult
The Paint Gun Testing Initiative is a challenging extension. Some players complained that Portal 2 riddles were mostly to easy to solve. If you like more challenging riddles, The Paint Gun Testing Initiative won’t let you down. Although it’s probably not a good design idea to start with some more complex riddles, TPGTI throws you directly into a maze with really difficult puzzles. So, if you like a game that makes it a little difficult for you, this one is for you. However, even if you haven’t played Portal 2 for a while you will quickly get the hang of it and it’s not frustratingly difficult, it’s doable for the average player:
