GTA5 Most Expensive Game Ever
Not that many gamers will care – they will be more concerned whether it is any good or not – but Grand Theft Auto 5 has set the bar for video games in more ways than just gameplay.
The title is set to be the most expensive release in video game history with a marketing and developing budget of $265 million.
The Rockstar Games title has been 5 years in the making and with 2.5 millions copies already pre-ordered is certain to become one of the best selling games of all time.
Gamers To Preload GTAV On PSN
Sony Europe have already confirmed that anyone who digitally preordered the title will be able to start “preloading” the title from September 16 – giving gamers one full day to download the title ahead of release.
This contrasts with earlier reports suggesting the game would be avaible to download from September the 13th onwards.
Only last month Sony had to apologise to Rockstart after european gamers were succesfull in downloading the game files and assets.
“Regrettably, some people who downloaded the digital pre-order of Grand Theft Auto V through the PlayStation Store in Europe were able to access certain GTA V assets. These assets were posted online,”

Grand Theft Auto is set for release on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on September 17.
