Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas – Mobile Edition
Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas was a landmark in game achievements at the time and it is now coming to a mobile phone near you.
GTA:SA Coming To Mobile Phones
When Grand Theft Auto San Andreas came out for the PlayStation Two, back in 2004, it was labelled an outstanding technical achievement.
We couldn’t quite believe that Rockstar managed to fit such a huge open world action adventure game onto one disc and for the most part to play so fantastically well.
But as time goes on technology advances further and further where we are now at the stage that GTA: San Andreas is getting a mobile release.
GTA: San Andreas Mobile Edition Remastered
We have already seen Grand Theft Auto 3 being released on iPhone and android systems. This was followed by GTA Vice City also getting a release. For the most part, other than the obvious control remapping, they were both straight ports of the originals.
This time it’s different, however. Rockstar are claiming that this will be the best looking San Andreas yet .The game’s checkpoint system is also getting a reworking to allow for more checkpoints. This should make the game much more mobile friendly.
There will also be more controller options than ever before, with new touch controls and multiple driving systems added. There is also added support for hardware controllers.
Grand Theft Auto:San Andreas Mobile Out Next Month
The new mobile version of Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas is coming out next month – right in time for holiday season.
It’s coming out on Android,Amazon Kindle,Windows and IOS. There is no announced PlayStation Vita release however. This is surprising considering the success of Grand Theft Auto Liberty City Stories and Grand Theft Auto Vice City Stories when they were release for the PlayStation Portable. Is it possible they are lining up a follow Vita release?
As of now no prices has been set but as it is a mobile game it should hopefully not hit gamer pockets too hard.
