Grand Theft Auto 5 has finally hit the shelves and the early feedback for long awaited title is extremely positive.
Fans Queue Overnight For Biggest Release of The Year -GTA V
As it is with any game this size there was a midnight launch and gamers around the world queued far and wide in scenes often associated with the release of a new console or iPhone.
The latest Grand Theft Auto has been 5 years in the making. With a budget of £170 million, it is expected to recoup over £1 billion in profits withing the first 12 months. This exceeds nearly every big budget movie release we have ever seen.
The game had 3 million preorders before its release but will sell many more. Early feedback has been outstanding with the game been roundly praised by critics.
Early Reviews Of GTA V Extremely Positive
It’s a risk with a big budget or long anticipated release that the game itself falls flat but Rockstar have a reputation for living up to the hype and they have done it again with Grand Theft Auto V.
It has been getting “10/10” reviews accross the boards from respected sites such IGN, Edge and Official Xbox Magazine.
Many have commentated on the “non-stop open world fun” that can be found which many argued was lacking Grand Theft Auto 4.
The three characthers have gone down well with reviewers noting they offer different perspectives to the world making the gameplay gel excently.
Employers Told To Watch Out For “Grand Theft Auto Flu”
One funny side effect of this release is that employers have been warned to watch out on employees calling in sick.
“Grand Theft Auto V will be the biggest entertainment launch of the year and possibly all-time with levels of consumer anticipation outstripping Harry Potter and Twilight,” Tom Butler,Social Media editor of IGN said.
“With gamers queuing at midnight to be among the first to play and the developer boasting thousands of hours of game play, there’s no surprise that we’re likely to see an outbreak of GTA flu this September.”
