Final Fantasy 13-2 Release Date, Story, Preview

The latest Final Fantasy 13-2 release date infos and a preview.
Final Fantasy 13-2

Well it seems like we’re moving on to Final Fantasy XIII-2, I’ve been a fan of the Final Fantasy’s for a while and I’ve always enjoyed them, they’ve come a long way from the years ago when I first started playing Final Fantasy games. It’s good to see a decent, original game go on to have so many follow on games.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 Release Date

Final Fantasy XIII-2 is being published by Square Enix, it’ll come to the PS3 and Xbox 360 in Japan in late 2011, we won’t be seeing it in North America / Europe until later in 2011, but it seems to be looking like early 2012 at the moment. The game it’s self is a sequel to Final Fantasy XIII, as you can probably of guessed by the name.

Square Enix, which is the company are publishing Final Fantasy XIII-2 claim that Final Fantasy XIII-2 will exceed Final Fantasy XIII in every single aspect, so they’ve got high exceptions from Final Fantasy XIII-2, which means us as gamers, will have even higher expectations from Final Fantasy XIII-2.

Final Fantasy 13-2 Story

The storyline it’s self is going to be a carry on, hopefully it’ll be good, I’ve always been happy with the previous story lines, so I can’t see why Final Fantasy XIII-2’s will be any different. Final Fantasy’s are definitely games you need to follow the storyline to understand properly, if you don’t follow it then you just get confused about what’s going on, which really spoils the game if you ask me.

You can watch the official first trailer above, as you can see the graphics are pretty stunning in the trailer, they’ll be a lot more information leaked closer to the release in Japan, annoyingly we’ll probably know the full storyline by the time it gets released here in Europe.

I personally can’t wait to see what’s in store with this edition of Final Fantasy, I’m starting to wonder how much longer they’ll be creating Final Fantasy’s, with their current storyline they’re able to make games for years to come, Final Fantasy already has a huge fan base, so I’m sure we’ll be seeing plenty more Final Fantasy’s after Final Fantasy XIII-2 is released.
