Windows 7 SP1 Download (Final)
Microsoft released the final Windows 7 Service Pack 1. Everyone is now excited what’s up next, Windows 7 SP2 could already bring some more significant changes, and then there’s Windows 8 of course.
If you’re having problems with HDMI connections, you might want to download the Windows 7 SP1 ASAP, because it includes some fixes for HDMI audio connections apparently. The final Windows 7 Service Pack 1 also includes all security fixes. The final Windows 7 SP1 can be downloaded from Microsoft’s Download Center (microsoft.com/downloads).
SP1 Final features:
- RemoteFX (hardware accelerated 3D graphics output)
- Dynamic Memory (dynamic allocation of main memory to guest systems under Windows Server 2008 R2 Hyper-V)
The final Windows 7 SP1 Update DVD (7601.17514.101119-1850_Update_Sp_Wave1-GRMSP1.1_DVD.iso) is about 2GB large. Microsoft also provides the new symbols for Windows 7, which are required for debugging Windows 7 SP1.
The following symbols are now available:
- Windows_Win7SP1.7601.17514.101119-1850.AMD64CHK.Symbols.msi
- Windows_Win7SP1.7601.17514.101119-1850.AMD64FRE.Symbols.msi
- Windows_Win7SP1.7601.17514.101119-1850.X86CHK.Symbols.msi
- Windows_Win7SP1.7601.17514.101119-1850.X86FRE.Symbols.ms
You can use the symbols for the WinDBG program that allows you to open DMP files (debug files)
