Windows 7 Christmas Theme
I’ve created a Christmas theme for Windows 7 with Christmas Desktop Icons, 18 Christmas Wallpaper, Christmas sounds and a Christmas fireplace screensaver – all in one package. Because it was quite large, there’s a light and a full edition. Of course, they are both free!

This Christmas theme includes two themes. One theme only includes red Christmas wallpapers and the other only green Christmas wallpapers. My favorite is clearly the red Christmas theme, but if you prefer a green/white combination that’s cool too.

What would be Christmas without Jingle Bells? The full edition of the theme includes a modern Jingle Bells sound. The light and full edition both have some more sounds – HO HO HO! ;)

How to install the Christmas themes on Vista/XP?
If you want to install the themes on Vista or XP, you will need 7-zip to extract the files. Then you can apply the the .theme file and add the wallpapers manually. We have a very detailed guide about this:

My icons does not change :(. Why?

You have to make sure that the option “Allow themes to change desktop icons” is checked. If it’s not, your desktop icons will stay the same.
After reading the tutorial you will know how to do it. If it still doesn’t work then, let me know.

I keep trying to download a theme, but I’m asked to complete 1 survey. However, I am not directed toward any survey. What’s going on? What am I missing?
Which theme are you trying to download? The Christmas theme is free and it’s optional to complete a survey (but please do it if you want to support us).
You say you are asked to complete a survey. On that gateway there will be links: Click on one that you like (there will be up to 6 surveys available, depending on your location) and you will be redirected to the survey .. should be pretty straight forward.

But I am having a problem in extracting the HD wallpapers pack I downloaded last month. They ask for a serial number, I tried my best to receive it but no result.

I get a message saying that this version of Windows7 does not support themes. I have the Home Basic version.
Radhika, you may want to read this tutorial:
How to change desktop wallpaper in Windows 7 Starter / Home Basic
You will have to use a program like 7zip to extract the wallpapers from the Christmas theme, then you can follow the tutorial and apply any of them.
