Aliens: Colonial Marines is going to be released next year. here”s a first
Aliens: Colonial Marines will use a modified Unreal 3 Engine with a new renderer – the engine is called Red Ring.
The shooter will arrive in early 2012 for a lot of platforms, including the upcoming Nintendo Wii U, but also for Nintendo DS, PS3 and XBOX360.
The original game Aliens: Colonial Marines was supposed to be released in 2001 for the Playstation 2, but was canceled.
Quicktime events will be used in the upcoming Aliens game and a co-op mode is planned for up to 4 players. It’s possible that’ll see some sort of Aliens: Colonial Marines games ladder as well (ESL).
