Uncharted 3: PS3 only – Good or Bad?

Uncharted 3 is probably one of our most-anticipated games 2011. What I don’t like about Uncharted 3 is the fact that it’s a PS3 exclusive title. I just don’t understand how you can take such a big loss and not release a game for PC and XBOX360, even if you are paid a high sum by Sony. Uncharted 3 would probably be one of the best-selling games in 2011, possibly competing with titles like MoH and CoD if it was available for other consoles and PC.

On a sidenote, I also don’t like the fact that so many developers are still developing games for consoles that are ridiculously outdated. I understand the economical reasons why they do it, but they are effectively slowing down the overall development of games.

Anyway, as Epic Games has proven with Infinity Blade, you don’t need a Hexacore CPU and 8GB RAM to run some nice-looking games and in the end it’s all about gameplay anyway (Indie games like Minecraft or Angry Birds rock despite their graphics).

So, if you own a PS3, are you going to preorder Uncharted 3 or are you going to wait until you can preorder a TBA collector’s edition that could possibly be very limited. The collector’s edition of Uncharted 2 was only available to really dedicated fans and strictly limited – it now sells for a couple hundred on ebay.
