According to the author, the Windows 8 theme works perfectly on Windows 7 SP1 and Pre SP2, as well as Windows 7 64-bit SP1.

The visual styles was inspired by Zune, Twitter and the Metro UI. It is using the Segoe UI, Semi Light and Zegoe Fonts. Created with Adobe Photoshop CS5 Extended and Windows Style Builder.

A redesigned Windows Explorer, changeable colors, top frame and translucent taskbar.

    Have a question, some of the files worked for this theme when I followed your instructions, the Explorer windows to a point, the control panel navigation pane, but my start menu didn’t change. So how do I get the colors to change to the ones above in your screenshot?
