Are you interested in game development? Is Uncharted one of your favorite games? Did you like the Uncharted 3 trailer? If so, here’s a really cool ‘behind the scenes’ trailer for you. Check it out after the break.

First they’re mostly talking about our expectations of the new Uncharted 3. And they’re probably right, everyone who has played Uncharted 2 has high expectations and hopes that 3 will be just as good as part 2.

Now, the really cool stuff is the voice-acting and motion-capturing that they show us. They have their own motion-capture studio to create all those amazing cut-scenes. It’s pretty awesome to see how they capture the voice and motions of an actor 1:1 and convert it to a virtual reality.

If the trend continues that companies like EA only focus on the big titles (where the money is) we’ll probably soon have famous actors jump into the roles of popular game characters. At least, I could imagine that in a couple years when games are even more realistic that “game acting” will become more and more important.

This is some really amazing behind the scenes footage, I really hope they show us some more “making of” materials of Uncharted 3.
