Tip: Recover Deleted Photos and Pictures Using Windows File Recovery Software (7,8)

Recovering photos and pictures is easy if you did not use your computer too much after you found out they were gone, here’s a great Windows file recovery software that works on 7,8 and even on Vista

1. Head over to http://www.nchsoftware.com/data-recovery/index.html

2. After downloading the software, double-click the .exe file and it should ask you for permissions, confirm

3. When you start the file recovery software for the first time it will ask you what you want to do. From there it’s pretty straight forward, select Recover and you can then select the file type e.g. images, documents, etc

4. You will have to remember the filename or it may be difficult to find the file, but if you don’t enter nothing and click Next

5. You will be asked to scan either a certain directory or the entire drive. If you know the path, you should select it because scanning an entire drive for deleted photos could take long. In most cases it will only be a few seconds, so if you are unsure select C:
