The Windows 8 Weather App Tutorial: Changing Your Weather Location
Lots of the new apps have a great look and can be customized for your PC and location. One of the things you may want to check after installing Windows 8 is the weather app.
To change the weather location in Windows 8, follow the steps below
1. First of all, select the Weather tile
2.Next, right click on the screen to open the weather charms bar. Then click on “World Weather”.
3.Next, click on the region (continent) to open up the continent map
4.Next, a list of countries appears on the right side of the pane. Click on the country you reside in. A detailed weather forecast of the region will be shown.

You dont have to install additional software or surf the Internet to get weather information in Windows 8 – handy!

This is not correct (unless you want to add a major city). If you want to add your correct location choose ‘Places’, NOT ‘World Weather’ and enter your location. When it’s found and displaying on the screen, right click and set as default in the bottom menu.
Having set an incorrect place for my Home weather location, how do I change it? It is easy to add and delete additional weather locations but having set the Home location, it appears impossible to change it.
