The Wii U Controller
The Wii U controller is rather special with a built-in display:
The Wii U Controller has a 6.2 inch touch screen. The screen shows exactly the same image as seen on your TV. However, the controller can give you additional information that can help you to play more effectively.
The Wii U supports Wii 1 games and obviously has support for the old Wii controllers! Looks like you can use all of your Wii controllers for a while longer.
You can connect the Wii U to a HDMI connector.
