A good movie is never late, nor is it early, it arrives precisely when it means to. The Hobbit is scheduled for a release in late 2012 (Release Date 13. December 2012 in EU)

If you have enjoyed the Lord of the Rings books and movies, but haven’t read The Hobbit yet, I strongly suggest you grab a copy as soon as possible. It’s a nice read and not as difficult to read as The Silmarillion (not everyone likes the writing style of that book).

In the movie Elijah Wood will return as Frodo, but he only has a small role. Martin Freeman, who also starred in The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, is playing Bilbo Baggins.
