FEATURED: What features do you want in Windows 8 .next?
So, with a release date for Windows 7 SP1 in sight, I decided that it’s time to bring our Windows 8 Wishlist Project to the next level. Microsoft promised that they will listen to customer feedback in their all-new Windows.next! If you have a great idea for a new feature, suggest it (see poll in sidebar). We’ll be sending the final list to Microsoft for consideration.
Do you need a Windows 7 Explorer replacement? Many people refuse to use the built-in explorer because it doesn’t provide the necessary features advanced users need.

The release of Windows 8 is highly anticipated, but what exactly is the release date for Windows 8? Windows 7 hit the shelves in October 2009 and Microsoft will continue to work on a SP1 for some months until Microsoft will be fully working on Windows 8 in June/July 2010 when their new fiscal year begins.
