Did you take some photos with your new digital camera only to notice that all people have red eyes? In Windows Vista, you were able to remove red eyes via the Windows Photo Gallery. The equivalent in Windows 7 is the Windows Live Photo Gallery, which you have to download from Live.com.

If you want to switch to AHCI after installing Windows 7, you’ll need to modify your registry and boot settings. I highly recommend to take your time to work through this Windows 7 tutorial, because AHCI has many advantages: It allows you to use hard drive features, such as NCQ (Native Command Queuing) or eSATA-Hot-Plugging, which can speed up Windows 7 if you are using a RAID drive.

What good is a new, hot Windows 7 theme if your monitor is messed up and not calibrated properly?  Windows 7 includes a nice tool to calibrate your display. The tool I’m talking about is called DCCW (Display Color Calibration) and allows you to adjust your gamma, brightness, contrast, color balance and tune your text.
