Portland based software company CompanionLink has updated their sync software to support two way Microsoft Outlook sync between Windows 8 Developer Preview and multiple mobile devices.

Two Way Outlook Sync On Windows 8 Via CompanionLink

CompanionLink is a software that works to sync all your information from various different services like Outlook, Lotus Notes, Google, SalesJunction, and Salesforce with mobiles devices like iPhone and BlackBerry. It has an extensive list of supported services and supports almost all current mobile devices like iOS (iPhone), Android, Windows Phone 7, BlackBerry and even HP WebOS (previously Palm WebOS). It has all the makings of a very useful tool for most people who use any of these services to run their business and daily lives.

The makers of the software have now updated it with support for Windows 8 Preview Build. This means that in addition to your mobile phones and Google accounts, you can now also sync your information to and from the new Outlook that comes with Windows 8. Since the OS is still just at the preview stage (beta version coming soon, according to rumors), it is hard to find support for properly syncing it with Customer Relationship Management (CRM) services.

It even supports for syncing with multiple devices or multiple PC database folders. Which means if you have a Google account, a smartphone and an iPad, you can sync them all with your Outlook on Windows 8. However, that would require you to buy the pro version. The normal version comes for $49.95 and the pro version for $129.85. Both of these versions have a free 14-day trial for you to try it out for yourself.

They have a nice explanation video at www.companionlink.com/videos and a lot of video tutorials for all platforms and devices. For business users, this can be a blessing but it also seems to be quite well suited for anyone who wants to sync their calendar, contacts, etc. between Windows 8 and other devices and accounts.
