Speed Up Slow Windows 7 Photo Viewer!
Did you notice that suddenly your photo viewer becomes really slow? If you calibrated your monitor in Windows 7 via DCCW, you can speed it up by deleting your calibration profile. Let’s find out how!
1. Open the Explorer (Windows key + E)
2. Go to your main partition where Windows 7 is stored, usually C:
3. Go to the path: C:\Windows\System32\spool \drivers\ color\ or enter it in the address bar at the top.
You will find something like this here:

4. Delete the profile CalibratedDisplayProfile-0.icc and your Photo viewer will fly again.
Keep in mind that this will delete your display calibration. Instead of relying on the Windows 7 display calibration, get the profile from your monitor manufacturer, e.g. from belinea.com.

yes thank you so much this already works and windows photo viewer is fast again
thanks
I tried everything even deleting color profiles from display resolution menu but this one worked for me… Thanks, by the way I deleted “CalibratedDisplayProfile-1.icc” and it worked!
