Restarting Themes Service in Windows 8 Can Fix Problems


Restarting Themes Service_thumb.jpg 1If you are having problems with the Aero themes in Windows 8, it often helps to restart the themes service. Here’s how.


1. Let’s click on the Start button and search for “Apps”, enter services.msc into the search.

2. Enter services.msc into the search bar and make sure that Apps is selected. Click on the services.msc icon that appears:

3. The list of Windows 8 services appears. You can now scroll down, hit T on the keyboard to jump to Themes, select it and then click on the blue Restart service link:

4. Was easy, huh? This can fix a lot of problems that you might have with your Aero themes.
