Ok, so you’ve seen the first pictures of Zelda Skyward Sword and the gameplay trailer and you want to get your hands on the game? Unfortunately, Nintendo announced that they have to delay the release date for Zelda Skyward Sword, so that won’t happen until 2011.

Originally, the plans were to release Zelda Skyward Sword in 2010. During the E3 presentation you could easily see that the Wii controller interface still has some technical problems, so if they need more time to fix that and other parts of the games to make it a Zelda that can compete with Ocarina of time, it’s fully understandable. Nonetheless, the new controller interface seems to be pretty balanced already and far better than the old one of Zelda Twilight Princess, so that fights might be a lot more interesting and realistic.

Actually, I think they should do it like Blizzard and only release the game when every little detail is perfectly balanced. Because that makes the difference between a good game and an excellent game – and we’ve seen plenty of excellent Blizzard game releases!
