NVIDIA’s 3D Vision Surround: CES 2010


If NVIDIA’s 3D Vision isn’t enough for you, you might be interested in 3D Vision Surround that allows you to play 3D games on 3 monitors.

Thanks to the current 3D hype, we can expect to see more of that in the near future.  All of the next-generation GeForce cards will support 3D Vision Surround (GF100 chips+).

NVIDIA presented this new 3D technology at the CES 2010 on 3 120 Hz DLP projectors.

A setup like that would obviously require a SLI card. According to many reports, NVIDIA’s 3D Vision Surround setup still has many performance problems and the game that they presented at the CES (Avatar in 3D) was running at a FPS rate below 30!
