EA’s latest Crysis 2 trailer looks like an homage to Cloverfield, a tremendous gripping thriller from 2008 (J.J.Abrams). If you haven’t seen the Crysis2/Cloverfield trailer yet, check it out after the break.

Cloverfield is all about a monster attack on New York from the point of view of a small group. As we already know, Crysis 2 is taking the player to New York as well. The first Crysis 2 New York trailer (premiered in New York) was already pretty good and the use of the cover song “New York, New York” pretty clever. The second trailer is just as good!
