It looks like co-op RPG’s are a new trend. If you like Lord of the Rings and co-op games, then check out this epic CG trailer for the Lord of the Rings video game: “War in the North”:

Snowblind Studios will be making the game, who are well-known in the industry for Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance and Champions of the North. Deep gameplay and epic lore, what else would be a better combination? Hopefully they will turn the game into something that deserves to wear the name “Lord of the Rings”. I’ve been pretty disappointed by almost all Lord of the Rings games.

Just two days ago, we reported about the new co-op RPG of Bethesda – Hunted: The Demons Forge. So, co-op RPG’s will definitely be something that we will play a lot more in the future.

So far, the official website does not provide any screenshots of Lord of the Rings: War in the North, but here’s some background information:

The winds of change are blowing through Middle-Ear, and unsettling developments are forcing its inhabitants into action. Some have turned a blind eye, unaware of the events in distant lands, and other have been actively but distantly observing the developments. Yet the time is approaching when all the inhabitants of the middle-earth will play a role in its future, willingly or not.
