How to make glass in Minecraft


Glass is pretty cool to build some impressive buildings in Minecraft. If you don’t know how to make glass in Minecraft, here’s a quick how-to.

Glass requires you to smelt sand stones, you can’t craft glass. So, to make glass you need a furnace first (8 cobblestones only!). Sand is basically everywhere in Minecraft. So, all you have to do is to find some sand stones, get a furnace, some coal or wood and make some glass blocks.

Making glass detailed instructions:

1. Find some sand blocks. They’re usally all over the world:

2. Make a furnace with 8 cobblestones:

3. After making a furnace, you can then put in some sandstones along with some wood (preferably coal) and make a lot of glass.

As you can see making glass is simple and you can create a lot of glass blocks only a few minutes into Minecraft.
