How to install Rainmeter skins/themes?
Need to know how to install Rainmeter skins/themes? Every Rainmeter theme normally comes with an auto-installer. It is recommended to use this installer to install the skins and themes. However, it is not fully fail-proof, so you should also know how to install the Rainmeter skins manually.
How to install Rainmeter Themes Automatically?
Auto-Installer:
1. Extract the contents of your theme somewhere on your hard drive.
2. Navigate to the folder and double-click on Rainstaller.exe (might be named differently for other themes)
How to install Rainmeter Skins Manually?
Manual:
1. Extract the contents of your theme somewhere on your hard drive.
2. Go to that folder and navigate to the subfolder: Data\Skins\. There you will find the folder W7
3. Copy the folder W7
4. Navigate to C:\Users\[yourusername*]\Documents\Rainmeter\Skins and paste the folder here!
5. Go to the folder we extraced the content to in (1).
6. Navigate to the subfolder: Data\Themes\
7. Copy the folder [ThemeName*]
8. Navigate to C:\Users\[yourusername*]\AppData\Local
9. Start Rainmeter (exit it if it was open)
10. Right-click on the tray-icon and hover over “Themes”: Select [ThemeName*]
11. Done!
*[yourusername*] = your PC username
* [ThemeName*] = your Theme name

I have downloaded the Razor and Speed themes however they don’t come with a .thm file to copy to the themes folder for rainmeter. Any ideas how you install these 2 themes?
