How to Change Color of Sticky Notes in Windows 7

The sticky notes gadget is pretty awesome and it’s been slightly improved in Windows 7. You can easily change the color of sticky notes, if you don’t like the default color (yellow).

Change color of sticky notes

Step 1: Creating Sticky Notes

Hit the Windows Key on the keyboard and write Sticky Notes in the search option at the bottom of the start menu.

Press Enter, now at the top the Sticky Notes program should appear:

Step 2: Changing the Color

Right Click on the Sticky Note on the desktop. A new tab will appear where you will find different color options at the bottom.

Select the color you want for your Sticky Note. I have selected Blue. The new color should be in use by your sticky notes now:

Shouldn’t be too difficult to change this.
