Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 hit the theaters on November 15th in New York. The release date of the movie in the UK was November 11th.
In the US, the Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part 1 DVD was released on April 15th, exactly 5 months after the US premiere. With Christmas in mind, we can expect a delay of 4 months for the Deathly Hallows Part 2 DVD.

The release date for the 2nd part of the Deathly Hallows is the 7th July 2011 in London and the 15th July 2011 in the USA.
Do you see the pattern here? Yep. They are releasing the 2nd movie on a 15th again. The Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 1 DVD was released exactly 5 months after the release of the actual movie (cinema release date).
Based on the facts above, we can assume that the Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 DVD will be released on December 15th 2011. Right? Wrong. Because Warner Bros would want to release the DVD of the 2nd movie at least a month BEFORE Christmas.
Based on all facts above, I assume that Warner Bros will release the Harry Potter And The Deathly Hallows Part 2 DVD on November 15th, 2011 – November 30th, 2011.

It would be nice if Warner Brothers could tell us after the movie comes out … when the DVD will be released…but I guess that would cause too much trouble…
I agree with this date. The Transformers 3 dvd won’t be until late november early december at least (according to the releases of the previous two). Most other films will be avoiding Harry Potter on their DVD release. Warner Bros will want Harry Potter out on DVD as soon as they can due to the success of the film.
Transformers will actually be in late Sept. Harry should be 11/18 which also happens to be the date the new Twilight movie opens. and you know WB will do whatever it can to make sure twilight doesn’t break Harry’s new opening weekend record.
well even if they do that anyone in grades5-8 who want the movie cant get it at midnight because of school. all movie companies are so stupid to do that unless its in the summer
I was thinking that the Harry Potter movie might come out beginning of December or so. ‘Cause I have an old cinema ticket from Harry Potter & the half blood prince and the date says July 15th, 2009 (Thursday) and so, the movie must had come out like July 09, 2009 worldwide. And I remember buying the movie on dvd like December 07, 2009 ’bout.
Also, the Harry Potter & the deathly hallow part 1 came out in November 2010, (I forgot the date, I didn’t kept my cinema ticket) I have a pic from Entertain Weekly that the dvd came out on april 15.
True. November is most likely for Harry as Warner will want to stop Twilight success and Have the dvd out alongside Lego Harry Potter 2 which is out in November. I’d say October or late Novmeber is more likely for Transformers 3. Also recent turmours say that Warner want Harry Potter out in Novmeber in the same week that the first film was rleeased ten years ago.
Half-Blood Prince was also released on July 15, two years ago. It was released on DVD 146 days later. The Deathly Hallows Part 1 DVD was released 147 days later. If we use those same numbers for Deathly Hallows Part 2, we arrive at a release date of December 8-9, which are Thursday and Friday. DVDs are not always, but are usually, released on Tuesdays. But, Deathly Hallows Part 1 was released on a Friday. So, odds are there will be a release date of December 6, December 9, or December 13. The Twilight movie date sounds a bit early, but I wouldn’t be surprised if WB announced something about the DVD that week to steal some thunder.

The release dates aren’t right at all. I already know that in Holland it comes out on dvd/blu-ray 16 november. I pre ordered it and I got a mail when they knew it.
It has been officially announced that HARRY POTTER AND THE DEATHLY HALLOWS PART 2 will be released on DVD and Blueray this Friday Nov.11,2011.
