GTA V Beta Testing Started?
You can already sign up for the Fallout Online beta or join the Medal of Honor 2010 beta. According to unverified rumors some beta testers even got their hands on a very early GTA V build!
Take Two (distributor of GTA) clearly stated that they don’t want to release a new GTA every year due to quality reasons. GTA IV was released back in April 2008 and received two expansions: The Lost and Damned and The Ballad of Gay Tony. GTA: Chinatown Wars and Episodes from Liberty City are two other GTA games worth mentioning.
GTA V Release Date in 2010? Unrealistic.
So, is it realistic that they will release GTA V in 2010? No, it’s not. GTA is a game franchise with a really high quality and you can’t develop a decent game in a year (Episodes from Liberty City was released in October 2009).
Is there a playable GTA V beta?
There’s of course a lot of internal testing, but I wouldn’t believe anyone outside Rockstar Games who claims to own a beta of GTA V. Rockstar Games would have revealed GTA V at the E3 this year if they really had a stable beta.
